The past decade has seen SUBC go from strength to strength, with a growing number of successes every year. The club now ranks as one of the largest and most competitive of the University's sports clubs. SUBC consistently has large numbers of oarsmen and oarswomen, with the quality of its crews continuing to improve year on year. The club is always looking to progress, winning medals at BUSA in recent years as well as having VIIIs and IVs qualify at both Henley Royal Regatta and Women's Henley Regatta.
We have a strong policy on nurturing novice rowers. We regard their development as being an integral part of future crews, as important as rowers who join the club with previous experience.
