The Stags Boat Club has set up an Alumni fund. The fund was set up by Mike Sanders and James Forward in 2005, with the primary aim of holding secure the generous donations of SUBC Alumni towards the current SUBC club. The money is a supplement to the funding provided by the university, and will never replace this much needed source of income.

The donations are held in an account managed by the Development Office at Southampton University, the SUBC committee can then put in detailed requests to fund specific items such as cox boxes, lifejackets or blades. This year the fund has even gone towards the purchase of a women's four/quad (pictured).
